Description

The best way to discover the former capital of the Russian Empire, the history of this city and its architecture is to take a walk through the beautiful entrance halls of old St. Petersburg buildings. The aim of our tours is to show the extraordinary in the ordinary. During the tour you will learn the history of well-courtyards and public thoroughfares and what is the backdoor and the great staircase; will see unusual apartment houses, such as: Eliseevsky, Tolstoy, Dekhterinsky, etc., their great entrances, learn who lived in it, who built and for whom. In our route there will be a house where Dovlatov lived, the famous "5 corners" with its staircase and the well, several unique stairs of St. Petersburg with stained glass windows, stucco and fireplaces, as well as communal apartments, old signs and bells, famous monuments.  

Itinerary

11:00 Meeting with your guide at the hotel, walk to the metro station Dostoevskaya;

11:30-13:30 Tour along entrance halls of St. Petersburg buildings;

13:30-14:00 Departure to the hotel.

In case of booking a guide with another language, additional payment is 2000rub per hour
