Description

A very interesting excursion in St. Petersburg, of course, will be visiting one of the most famous and beautiful palaces – Yusupov Palace. A unique architectural ensemble, a monument of history and culture, which owners were representatives of the richest and most noble family of Russia – the Yusupovs. The Palace has preserved ceremonial apartments, a miniature home theater and luxurious living quarters of the Yusupov family, which now are opened to the public. In addition, the Palace is known in Russian history as a place of murder of Grigory Rasputin. During our tour you will get acquainted with the history of the Palace and the Museum, see the residential and ceremonial rooms of the Palace, and will not only know the history of the death of Rasputin, but also will see some fragments of this event, which are presented in the museum as wax figures.  

Itinerary

10:00 Meeting with your guide at the hotel, walk to the metro station Dostoevskaya;

10:30 Arrival at Yusupov Palace;

10:30-12:30 Excursion in the Palace, visiting the exhibition “The murder of Rasputin”;

12:30-13:00 Departure to the hotel.
