Let’s start exploring St. Petersburg with its history! You’ll be welcomed by palaces, monuments and majestic squares of our city. Take a walk through the central streets and parks to feel the spirit of the Northern capital of Russia. As part of our tour you will visit The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood. The nine-domed сhurch was built in the Russian style in memory of one of the most beloved by the Russian people Emperor – Alexander II, on this place on March 1, 1881 he was fatally wounded by a terrorist. From our professional guide you will know about how the church was built with funds collected from all over Russia, as well as other facts about the history of this great architectural monument. Also you will explore the majestic St. Isaac's Cathedral, the largest Orthodox Church in the city, and its interior, which presents all kinds of monumental and decorative art-painting, sculpture, mosaic, colored facing stone. The program also includes a visit to one of the largest churches of St. Petersburg and Russia – Kazan Cathedral. The majestic monument of our city is located in the heart of Nevsky prospect and it is both a visiting card of St. Petersburg and a place of a pilgrimage for Orthodox people, as the main sacred object of the city, the holy icon of Our Lady of Kazan, also called Mother-of-God of Kazan, is kept in the cathedral.  

Itinerary

10:00 Meeting with your guide at the hotel;

10:15-10:45 Arrival at Saint Isaac’s Square, an excursion in St. Isaac’s Cathedral, The Bronze Horseman and Senate Square;

11: 00- 11:40 Visit to the Kazan Cathedral, Nevsky Prospect, the Winter Palace;

12: 00-12: 30 Visiting The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood with an excursion;

12:45 Spit of Vasilievsky Island;

13:00 Peter and Paul Fortress, Troitsk Square, Mars Field;

14:00 Departure to the hotel.

In case of booking a guide with another language, additional payment is 2000rub per hour

Entrance tickets to the museums are non-refundable and non-exchangeable
