Description

It’s a well-known fact that Anton Chekhov was a doctor, and all his literary works were unique in a way that they showed the deepest emotional suffering people could go through; the author could see those emotions and convey them in a way that appealed to us and turned his  works into masterpieces.

This tour will interest those, who are familiar with Chekhov’s work and see him as a true master because as we know “Brevity is the soul of wit”. During the excursion, you’ll feel as though you’re following Checkov on his way to the hospital where he used to practice, drop by Malaya Dmitrovka, where the writer lived, and the Strastnoy boulevard where there’s the Chekhov Cultural Centre and the library named after him. You’ll also get a chance to visit Kamergersky lane where a theatre was created in 1898. You may ask “what is so special about it?”

The plays staged there were written by Chekov specifically for that theatre troupe as well as were based on his masterpieces. This brought
fame and success to the theatre. You’ll also follow Checkov through Petrovka, Bolshaya Dmitrovka, and Tverskaya.

Our professional guides will make sure you’ll feel the strength and majesty of the great writer’s talent.
