We offer you to discover St. Petersburg for the first time from a visit to The State Russian Museum. You'll see the largest collection of Russian art in the world with a guide who will show and tell you all about such masterpieces of Russian painting as "The Ninth wave" by Aivazovsky I. K., "The Last Day of Pompeii" by Brullov K. P., "The Ship Grove" by Shishkin I. I., "A Moonlight Night on the Dnieper" by Kuindzhi A. I. and "Suvorov Crossing the Alps" by Surikov V. I. In addition, our guide will introduce you to the Museum collection of Russian iconography, one of the main in Russia, numbering more than 5 thousand icons and including masterpieces from the iconostasis of The Dormition Cathedral in Vladimir, written by the famous iconographer of the XV century Andrei Rublev. After the excursion in the Russian Museum, you will certainly enjoy a fascinating city walk including other no less important attractions of St. Petersburg.  

Itinerary

10:00 Meeting with your guide at the hotel;

10:30-12:30 visiting The State Russian Museum with an excursion;

12:40 Arrival at Saint Isaac’s Square, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, The Bronze Horseman and Senate Square;

13:00 The Peter and Paul Fortress, Spit of Vasilievsky Island, Kazan Cathedral, Nevsky Prospect;

13:30-14:00 Departure to the hotel.

In case of booking a guide with another language, additional payment is 2000rub per hour

Entrance tickets to the museums are non-refundable and non-exchangeable
